When I started this blog there was a lot of fuss in the media about bloggers being biased and accepting incentives for their writing, so their recommendations are tainted by the stain of filthy lucre.  I suppose a few of you are probably interested in whether I accept compensation or incentives for writing about things I like or dislike.  Just for kicks, and to make everyone feel more comfortable, I’ll tell you here.

I have links to Amazon products on this site, often throughout my posts.  If you link to Amazon.com from this site and buy something, I get a small percentage of whatever you buy on that visit.  I have a link in my blogroll to my cafe press store, and if you buy something there I’ll make a couple of dollars. 

So far I haven’t been solicited by any companies or restaurants or anyone to promote their products, though I have nothing against doing so if I really like them and can tell everyone about the agreement.  So, if I ever do receive any kind of compensation for a review, I’ll let you know in the actual post or here on my disclosures page. 

Anything else I promote on bethanyjensen.com is free and clear of any outside influence on my opinion.  Enjoy!
