From Degen on his 4th Birthday

Degen just said this to me and I had to write it down before I forgot:
“Mom! Sticky tape can stick to mountains, and leaves, and especially (whispered with wiggling fingers) crocodiles!”
Over and over all day long, he’s asked me in wonder “Is it still my birthday?” And the delight on his face when I say “Yes, it’s your birthday all day” is priceless.
My good, sweet son makes me smile all the time. Thank you Degen!
OH MY GOSHERS that is so adorable, and, strangely enough, that little “sticky tape” quote sounds like something i would say when joking around with Eliza or Nephi, haha. =)
Now for the reason of great importance for why i am commenting on this blog: I want to make a shout out to my little Degen-egen and his big boy self. Please let him know that i love him so much and miss him and wish him a very good, safe year as an already-practically-adult-4-year-old (heh heh) because… i forgot to tell him happy birthday yesterday =D. So happy post birthday to my very favorite nephew!

p.s. the “tag cloud” thing on the side of this school-computer-screen-in-my-medical-terminology-class-where-i-am-supposed-to-be-working-on-vocabulary is very neat and impressive.
