Maggie’s Toes
Apr 4th, 2008 by Bethany
Maggie was being very quiet a few minutes ago, so I quickly hunted her down to make sure she was okay and not getting into trouble. I found her underneath the kitchen table with a non-functioning pen, talking to herself about coloring. When she saw me, she immediately demanded a “huck” (hug), then showed me her pen and started telling me about coloring. She pretended to color with the pen on a small scrap of paper, then tried to color on her legs. I told her not to color on herself, “only on paper,” and she showed me her legs and feet and tried to put the pen on her foot. To her extreme delight, I helped her by putting the pen between her toes, and she proceeded to pretend to color with her rather dexterous toes.
