Degen’s Latest Cute-ism

I asked Degen if he wanted some pineapple for a snack this afternoon and he refused until I took him over to the refrigerator and showed him the Ziplock full of leftover pineapple from last night’s pizza toppings. Then he got excited and said he wanted some. That’s not the cute, funny part. The cute, funny thing is that when he finished he asked if he could have more “apple pie,” meaning pineapple. It was hard to get him to believe me when I told him that it was all gone because I couldn’t help giggling at his repeated requests for apple pie pineapple.
