Watch Me Sing

At Christmas my mom sent me home with a bunch of toys, books, and other materials she’d saved from when I was little. Included among them are two audiocassette tapes that my sisters and I loved to listen to–the Watch Me Sing albums. They’re more than 20 years old, I’m sure, and some of the songs are distorted or missing (more than one kid has pulled the tape out of the cassettes for fun while Mom wasn’t looking…), but my kids love them too! I like Volume 1 best, but Volume 2 is great too. Most of the songs on both albums are “action songs” with clapping and marching and dancing encouraged as part of the lyrics. Today I turned it on when Degen and Maggie were bored and just wanting to watch TV and it totally distracted them and got them moving! It got me moving, too, actually. I don’t know anything about any of the other music sold by Brite Music (their publisher/producer/distributor/whatever), but someday I’m going to buy the Watch Me Sing digital albums either as CDs or MP3s to replace the tapes because I think they’re so great. You can buy them here: https://www.britemusic.com/mp3/index.aspx (no, I’m not selling for them and don’t get anything if you buy something).
