I just spent some time on www.mormon.org, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' missionary-focused site. They've done some redesigning and added some new content. The Church has a new multimedia campaign called "Truth Restored" where they've asked converts to the Church about their experiences and recorded their answers totally unscripted. They have the videos on mormon.org and I couldn't help but watch all the videos once I saw one of them because I felt the Spirit as I listened. I think the site is a good place for members of the Church to refresh and strengthen their testimonies, as well as a great introduction to the Church for those who are interested in learning more about us.
Another feature that's been added recently is Live Chat with the missionaries. For those who have questions but aren't ready to have missionaries in their homes and/or who are more comfortable with this medium than talking on the phone, chatting online is a nice, safe place to get real answers to their questions. The missionaries they talk to are in the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC) and all you have to do to chat with them is provide a first name and email address. The hours are 7am to 10:30pm Mountain Time.
So, check out mormon.org whether you're a member of our church or not. And if you are a member of the Church, check it out and you can take your friends on a tour of our beliefs there and they'll have even more ways to learn about us than they did before.
