Patting Myself on the Back
Oct 25th, 2007 by Bethany
You would not believe how happy I am with myself right now. It's not even 9:30 in the morning and my kids are dressed, I got Colin to work on time, we've all had breakfast, I've got the dishwasher unloaded, loaded, and started, I've switched out and folded a batch of laundry (which brings me to the "caught up" stage), my bed is made, I took out the trash, and the floors of my house are all picked up. I said my prayers and read my scriptures already, too! Yay!
Yesterday I got all caught up with my Primary stuff, including my presidency meeting, and I called the people I Visit Teach. I called Colin's doctors to confirm appointments and to have his records transferred. I cleaned out the car, too! And I had everything unpacked and put away from our trip this weekend by Tuesday morning.
Now I can get to the fiddly bits that don't get done as often, like the floors and the bathrooms and maybe even the kids' bedroom. I may pay bills today, I'm in such a good mood. And I've got to get dinner going sometime. But first I think I'll sit down and reward myself with a cup of cocoa and some time with a magazine.
