My New Calling

Yesterday I was sustained and set apart as our ward Primary President. I'm actually pretty excited about working with the kids in the ward. Primary can be a really fun, energetic, and creative place to be as you worship and learn about the Lord. I am grateful to have a calling and humbled to be trusted to lead.
Yesterday my two counselors were sustained and set apart, too. They are great! I couldn't have found two women who appreciate and love children more than these two. The rest of the Primary is extremely understaffed and our presidency has to make a bunch of recommendations to the Bishopric for people to call to all but about four positions in the organization. It seems that the rest of the auxiliaries and organizations in our ward pulled many of our teachers as they were reorganized, so we need to pull in new people. It's a lot of work to have over a dozen new people to have called and trained, but it'll be lots of fun, too.
So, wish me luck and tell me if you have Primary ideas or advice (I may not take your advice, but it's fun to hear it anyway)!
