If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!BusinessWeek just released its Most Affordable Housing Markets 2007. It breaks down the housing variances in each state. Of course it's always giggly fun to see how grotesquely overpriced houses are in Beverly Hills compared to their exact counterparts […]

I just Googled "Primary Singing Time ideas" and got a link to this site: http://www.theideadoor.com/. It has all sorts of great Primary ideas, including Singing Time ideas (which is what I'm doing this week).
I think my favorite is the "Music Measles" idea that I may try this week. You put red stickers on the music […]

I like Google. I use gmail, I nearly exclusively use Google as my search engine, and I talk about "googling" things. I use Google to tally up statistics on my web pages. Google is free and has great logos.

Right now both kids and my husband are sleeping and I have a rare moment of peace and quiet. It's been a long week and I confess I'm pretty worn out and grateful for the Sabbath.
This morning was pretty hectic with getting ready for church. "Getting ready for church" means finding everyone's clothes, getting […]

This is Colin again. I know, two posts in a row… I just have to say how much Bethany and I love CSPAN. It is the only place you can get uncensored information on most stories. If I want news on the Jena Six or Blackwater, my options range from Rush Limbaugh to Al Sharpton, […]

You may have heard I took a job as a public school teacher. I've taught at public schools before, and private schools, and colleges; and been in administration half the time. I've been a Principal and a College President… and now I'm teaching Spanish at an urban middle school. Everyone comes up and asks whether this […]
