Easter FHE Part Two
Apr 6th, 2007 by Bethany
Okay, we ended up singing "Do as I'm Doing" and "I'm All Made of Hinges." We didn't color eggs because it was too late and the kids needed to go to bed, but we'll do that later in the week and it'll be fun. We did do a flannel board lesson with Easter pictures, but I just cut out the pictures from old Ensigns since my printer wasn't working. My two-year-old absolutely loved helping me put up the pictures and word strips on the flannel board. I had word strips that said "Easter," "Jesus," "Atonement," "Suffered for Our Sins," and "Resurrection" (check out the Easter lesson in the FHE Resource Guide) and I had Degen help me put them up over the appropriate pictures while I briefly explained what happened. It was a perfect lesson for little ones. And I made pinnaple upsidedown cake at my sister's suggestion instead of cookies.
