Freecycle free cycle

Speaking of Freecycle, I picked up my first freecycle free cycle–meaning I got a free bicycle from freecycle! I also got a very nice free artificial Christmas tree (I’ve been wanting a fake Christmas tree since we got married, just for the security of having one). Both things were from the same place, and I’m very grateful to the lady who was giving them away.
It worked just the way it’s supposed to. The lady on the list had something she wanted to give away and posted it on the list. I saw it and wanted it, so I emailed her and asked if I could have it. She said I could if I picked it up before anyone else and gave her address. Colin and I drove down there this morning and picked it up off her porch. It was that easy!
On the list today was a posting saying that someone near us died who owned a computer store and their estate is giving away a bunch of computer stuff on Monday. Colin is thrilled and we’re planning to go down there and look through what they’re offering to see if we can improve our server/desktop/laptop.
