Colin’s Grandfather, William Delos Jensen

We just found out that Colin's paternal grandfather, Delos, passed away this morning. We knew he was suffering from congestive heart failure, and that he was in the hospital and might pass soon. I believe that he would have turned 97 next month. I knew him as a good, kind grandfather to Colin and great-grandfather to our kids. We saw him at the Jensen Christmas Party last month, and Degen followed him around the party the entire time, wanting to be with him and try to do everything like him. When we were at his house, he let Degen wear one of his hats so he could be like grandpa.
Delos often spoke of his late wife, Lorraine, and of their ancestors and family, wanting to be sure we knew about them. I'm sure he had a great reunion this morning with his wife, who he'd missed very much. I'm grateful to have known him.
